Ken joined McGraw Morris Masud in 2026 after serving five years as a senior counsel for the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission where he was responsible for all stages of investigation, prosecution and appeal of ethics matters in service of the State Bar of Michigan under the Michigan Supreme Court.  Previous to this position, Ken spent 27 years working as an assistant prosecuting attorney.  Most of his years in prosecution was as a major crimes prosecutor handling complex litigation on homicide cases, arson, white collar crimes and other high profile matters.  He began his prosecution career in Lapeer County before serving more than 25 years in Oakland County where he concluded his service as Circuit Court Division Chief.  Thought his career Ken has obtained a successful conclusion on hundreds of trials.  Part of the foundation for Ken’s legal career was serving as a Circuit Court Clerk for several years prior to his admission to the practice of law.

Ken has enjoyed working with countless members of the bench and bar in addition to state, federal and private individuals on the legal matters.  During his career Ken has served as a faculty member in trial advocacy and in cross-examination at the National Advocacy Center for National District Attorney’s Association.  He was an annual visiting instructor in Deadly Force and Firearms Legalities for over 21 years at Oakland Police Academy.  He was an invited instructor at the International Association of Arson Investigators training and was a lecturer for the Prosecution Association of Michigan.  Additionally, he has spoken before many groups on criminal law and the justice system.  Ken also attended numerous seminars related to legal issues, ethics and trial practice.

Ken was awarded a special recognition by Federal Bureau of Investigations for his outstanding record in prosecution.  He has been given further special recognition for dedication and diligence in the pursuit of justice for cases involving fallen law enforcement officers.  He was previously awarded Arson Prosecutor of the Year by Oakland County Association of Arson and Fire Investigators.
