IMLA AWARD
Published: October 23, 2017
On October 17, 2017, McGraw Morris P.C. partner Kevin Kilby was awarded the Marvin J. Glink Private Practice Local Government Attorney Award at the annual International Municipal Lawyers Association conference in Niagara Falls. Kevin is one of only three attorneys in the United States to receive this award in 2017. This award recognizes the truly remarkable municipal attorneys in this country and beyond. There is no more appropriate recipient of this award than Kevin - a truly remarkable attorney, person, husband, father and partner.
The Marvin J. Glink award was established by the IMLA to recognize a private practice practitioner who exhibits those qualities that made Marvin Glink one of the truly remarkable lawyers working in the private sector on behalf of public clients. In addition to the traditional qualities of excellence in the practice of law, the award seeks to recognize a private law practitioner who has provided outstanding service to the public and who possesses an exemplary reputation in the legal community, the highest of ethical standards, and who revels in maintaining a life that balances a passion for professional excellence with the joy of family and friends. In addition, the award seeks to recognize a person who exhibits qualities of openness and humility, coupled with a sincere concern for the interests of others, including the professional development of newer practitioners.
