NO EXCESSIVE FORCE DURING STRUGGLE TO ARREST SUSPECTED VIOLENT FELON

An officer who was assigned to a federal task force was accused of using excessive force to secure and handcuff a man suspected of violating federal law. Task force officers waited for Plaintiff at his home. When he arrived, Plaintiff charged into the home and demanded that task officers leave. A violent struggle ensued when task force officers attempted to arrest Plaintiff on the valid arrest warrant. The Court granted the summary judgment in favor of the task officer represented by McGraw Morris P.C. attorneys G. Gus Morris and Christopher J. Raiti.
